A pre-trade gate, not a calculator. Hold the trade you want against the rule you set — and get an honest go, trim, or skip.
A setup can look perfect and still be a bad trade — if the size breaks your risk rule. This checker does one thing: it holds the trade you want to take against the rule you already set for yourself, and tells you go, trim, or skip.
Enter the setup's stop distance, the size you're tempted to take, and your own max-risk rule. If the risk at your intended size exceeds what your rule allows, the honest answer is to trim to the size the rule permits — or pass. If you've added a funded-account drawdown buffer, it also flags when a single trade would eat too much of your remaining room.
Discipline under pressure isn't about feeling calm — it's about having decided in advance. A simple pre-trade check removes the in-the-moment negotiation that turns a 1% risk into a 4% revenge size. The rule was the point. This just enforces it.
