I’m an active-duty U.S. Army Soldier with 24 years of service. I’ve spent most of my career as an intelligence professional across USINDOPACOM, CENTCOM, and NATO. For the last decade, I’ve been in leadership and operational positions.

And somewhere in between all of that, I started trading.

I started trading while still on active duty. Like most people, I thought I could learn my way to profitability by buying the right course, finding the right indicator, following the right guru.
Over 8 years, I spent nearly $100, 000 on funded account evaluations, platform fees, and courses that promised everything and delivered nothing.
Most of those courses were overcomplicated garbage: random indicators stacked on top of each other with no logic, no structure, and no edge. They were dressed-up gambling. And I gambled right along with them. I lost. A lot. For years.
I almost walked away. More than once. After another failed system, another blown evaluation, another stretch of losses that made me question whether any of this was real: I nearly shut the charts down for good.
